Ndugunamiti Enterprises Limited proudly took part in the CookFund Carbon Trading Workshop held in Mwanza, bringing together stakeholders from across Tanzania to explore opportunities in clean cooking, carbon finance, and sustainable energy solutions.
The workshop, organized under the CookFund Programme with support from the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and the European Union (EU), focused on promoting access to clean cooking technologies while linking them to carbon markets as a means of reducing emissions and improving livelihoods.
Our participation strengthened Ndugunamitiās engagement in carbon trading and climate-smart business models, aligning with our mission to restore landscapes, empower communities, and promote sustainable agriculture in the Lake Zone and beyond.
We look forward to applying the insights gained from this workshop to expand our impact, integrating clean cooking solutions, tree planting, and carbon credit generation into our ongoing environmental and community initiatives.
Together, we are driving action for clean energy, climate resilience, and green growth in Tanzania. š
